Eighteen floors inside Morocco’s tallest tower
The Mohammed VI Tower soars over the riverbank in Salé, directly across from Rabat. The Waldorf Astoria occupies its upper levels, from the 29th to the 46th floor, with its heart beating on the 30th floor around the Peacock Alley lounge. Through floor-to-ceiling windows, vistas extend toward the Atlantic Ocean, the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Grand Theatre of Rabat, all just moments away.
The tower was inaugurated on 17 April 2026 by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan. The project was developed for O Tower, a subsidiary of O Capital Group, with support from RÉ Management. This marks the first Waldorf Astoria in Morocco and the brand’s 11th property across the Middle East and North Africa, joining more than 40 hotels worldwide. Hilton plans to open 15 hotels in the country, doubling its local portfolio.
55 rooms and suites, up to three-bedroom layouts

The initial concept originally exceeded 100 keys, but was intentionally scaled down. The property now features 55 refined rooms and suites, spanning Deluxe rooms to Junior, One Bedroom, Ambassador, Diplomatic, and Presidential suites, the largest offering three bedrooms. Every guest enjoys the service of a dedicated Personal Concierge throughout their stay.
Pierre-Yves Rochon interiors and nearly 7,000 works of art
The interior architecture was conceived by Pierre-Yves Rochon. Carved plaster ceilings, fireplaces framed in zellige (Morocco’s traditional glazed tilework), and bespoke Moroccan chests set an elegant tone in the suites. Nearly 7,000 artworks and object d’art are curated throughout the hotel, representing one of the largest private collections in North Africa, woven around a celestial narrative inspired by the stars.
Where to dine? Alain Ducasse and Brasserie Magnolia

On the 30th floor, Peacock Alley serves teas and crafted cocktails beneath a striking planetarium-inspired clock. Aldabaran, the signature restaurant by Alain Ducasse, offers elevated dishes such as line-caught sea bass with artichokes, wagyu beef fillet, saddle of lamb, and an orange blossom Tropézienne tart.
At Brasserie Magnolia, chef Lahcen Hafid presents refined Mediterranean cuisine centered around a courtyard fountain beneath delicate mashrabiya lattice screens. Two further venues are set to open soon: The Sapphire Room, an Asian-accented mezzanine bar, and Après, an artisanal coffee bar.
An oceanfront spa complete with a traditional hammam

The Waldorf Astoria Spa overlooks the open sea. Facilities include a traditional hammam and six treatment rooms, alongside an Iyashi dome (a Japanese-inspired gentle infrared heat therapy unit), a heated quartz sand bed, an ice room, and a sauna. An indoor pool, an ocean-facing infinity pool, and a 24-hour fitness centre complete the wellness offering.
Rates and booking: from €859 per night

As checked on 26 October 2026, opening rates stand at €859 per night for two, inclusive of taxes, for a 54 sq m Deluxe King room featuring city and river views, for stays between 17 and 18 November 2026. This rate is non-refundable, with breakfast available as an add-on for €41.
The hotel is situated a short drive from Rabat-Salé Airport, while Rabat is connected by high-speed train to Casablanca and Tangier. For events and celebrations, the hotel boasts nearly 1,300 sq m of dedicated space, including a grand ballroom and three meeting suites.
