Bar Camillo is the work of Lorenzo Antinori and Justin Shun Wah, co-founders of Bar Leone and Montana bar. Their Bar Leone, in Hong Kong, was named the world’s best bar in 2025 and 2026 by The World’s 50 Best Bars. For the Rosewood, the team has imagined an exclusive venue inspired by the salotto, the Italian living room where friends are entertained.

“Partnering with Lorenzo to bring Bar Camillo to life at Rosewood Hong Kong is a celebration of a shared vision,” says Hugo Montanari, managing director of Rosewood Hong Kong and K11 Artus, in the hotel’s press release.

The centrepiece is a Negroni trolley. Guests choose the base spirit, the garnish and the flavour profile (floral, savoury, rich or herbaceous), then the cocktail is mixed at their table.

The bar also showcases the Negroni Sospeso, its signature ritual, a tradition of generosity built on sharing a drink. The host of the house is Camillo, a mischievous mascot embroidered on jackets and napkins. “Good bartenders are responsible for entertaining their guests,” sums up Lorenzo Antinori.

Three chapters and a new menu every quarter

The menu reads in three parts. The Aperitivi di Benvenuto bring together dry, low-alcohol aperitifs, the Cocktail della Casa revisit the classics with the seasons, and the Playful Party Touches offer lighter festive drinks.

The menu will change every quarter, with nods to the popular culture of Hong Kong, Rome and beyond. Cocktail prices have not yet been published.

Gold, alpine green and 1950s-style mirrors

The decor plays on mid-century style, the design of the 1950s and 1960s brought up to date: lacquered wood veneer, polished metal and mirrored walls, in a palette of gold, alpine green and cream. A long banquette, low seating and intimate nooks share the room, which extends onto a terrace.

The bar is said to have around fifty seats between the interior and the terrace. Rosewood has not yet released any photo of the room, nor said where in the hotel the bar will be located.
