Our complete review of Kube Saint-Tropez: design, myBlend spa and Le Petit Célestin rooftop

Last updated:

In brief

  • Our rating: 9.9/10. An almost flawless stay.
  • Where: a stone’s throw from Saint-Tropez village, set in 2 hectares of Mediterranean gardens.
  • Highlight: a 300 m² spa and fully personalized myBlend (Clarins group) treatments.
  • The rooftop: Le Petit Célestin restaurant and its 360° view of the sea and Sainte-Maxime.
  • The beach: Cybèle, in Ramatuelle, styled by Kujten.
  • The only drawback: road noise, audible from the pools on the roadside.

Reopened in spring 2026 by Machefert Group, as part of its « Phénix » upscale plan, Kube Saint-Tropez embraces contemporary, discreet, and friendly hospitality. We stayed there the week of June 10th. The verdict after several days on site is clear: it’s one of the most successful stays we’ve tested this season on the peninsula.

A contemporary haven a stone’s throw from the village

Nestled in two hectares of Mediterranean gardens, this 70-room 5-star hotel cultivates understated luxury. The new « Naturals » rooms, inaugurated for the season, focus on warm materials, light wood, and soft lighting. Everything is impeccably clean, down to the smallest detail in the bathroom. Nothing is out of place, nothing creaks: you can feel an establishment that has been meticulously taken over.

The pools: the sublime view, the drawback of the road

It’s the Kube’s postcard view: two infinity pools opening onto the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, lined with canopy daybeds. The Kube also features a heated pool and a third basin nestled in the gardens. You could spend the whole day there. Our only reservation during the stay is here: the road runs alongside the hotel, and the sound of passing cars can be heard from the pools. Nothing prohibitive, but for an establishment of this caliber, it’s the only point that prevented us from giving a perfect score.

The myBlend spa: the highlight of the stay

Spread over two levels, the 300 m² spa features six treatment cabins, a hammam, and a sauna. But it’s the myBlend signature, the Clarins group brand, that makes all the difference. The facial treatment we received was simply incredible, thoroughly personalized according to our skin, from diagnosis to the myBlend LED mask, using products of astonishing effectiveness. This experience alone is worth the detour. Discover the Kube spa →

Refined dining, from breakfast to the rooftop

The bright restaurant room, open to the sea, sets the tone from breakfast. But the real destination is the rooftop: 210 m², a 360° view, and the ephemeral restaurant Le Petit Célestin, signed by the Mimoun brothers and Chef Jaïs. At sunset, facing the sea and Sainte-Maxime, dinner on the rooftop is a suspended moment.

Cybèle beach, in Ramatuelle

The stay extends to Cybèle beach, in Ramatuelle, whose restaurant was designed by Cordelia de Castellane’s studio. For the season, the beach adopts the codes of the French house Kujten and its bandana motif. Refined sun loungers, lunch with your feet in the sand, and myBlend treatments also available on site: the Kube experience can also be enjoyed facing the big blue. Discover Cybèle beach →

Attentive service

Throughout the stay, it’s the staff’s attentiveness that stands out the most. Everyone is extremely caring, from the spa to the reception, with constant kindness and availability. It’s this extra soul, as much as the facilities, that places the Kube at the top of our Saint-Tropez selection, alongside our review of the Sezz hotel.

Our verdict: 9.9/10

Impeccable rooms, an exceptional myBlend spa, a spectacular rooftop, a distinctive beach, and attentive service: Kube Saint-Tropez successfully achieves its upscale transformation. We award it 9.9/10, with the only missing tenth due to the road noise audible from the pools. An almost flawless performance, and an address we unreservedly recommend for an exceptional stay on the peninsula.
