Singapore’s new luxury hotels: 62 villas at Raffles Sentosa and an Aman in 2028

Since March 2025, nine upscale hotels have opened or been reborn in Singapore, from Raffles Sentosa, the country’s first all-villa resort according to the brand, to the DoubleTree by Hilton on Robertson Quay, which opened on 1 October 2026. Three more will follow: NoMad in December 2026, then Hotel Indigo Changi Airport and Aman Singapore in 2028. Here are our addresses, neighbourhood by neighbourhood, with prices checked on 11 October 2026.

The former Hotel Miramar has become Singapore’s first DoubleTree. More than 200 rooms look out over the Singapore River. There is the Brew:33 café-bar, a pool and a kids’ club, and the SAUS restaurant will serve lunch and dinner from 1 November 2026. At 245 $S a night, it is the gentlest rate in this selection.

The former InterContinental Singapore has become Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, born of a partnership between Frasers Hospitality and Marriott. The main tower and the Heritage Wing, with its shophouse facades, take on Peranakan-inspired interiors, and the transformation continues in phases. For dining, there is Man Fu Yuan (Cantonese) and Luce (Italian), plus an outdoor pool.

The country’s second Raffles, it is, according to the brand, Singapore’s first all-villa resort: 62 villas with private pools on a hillside facing the South China Sea, each with butler service. Empire Grill (Italian), Royal China (Cantonese) and a spa complete the estate.

Mandai, 24 treehouses in the rainforest

In the north of the island, within the Mandai reserve, Banyan Group’s first address in Singapore is also the group’s 100th resort. Guests can sleep in one of 24 treehouses, and the rooftop pool faces the forest.

Fort Canning and Orchard Road, two revivals

The former Hotel Fort Canning, a heritage building dating from 1926, is home to the first METT in Asia-Pacific, from Sunset Hospitality Group. Two pools, padel courts, the L’Amo Bistrò del Mare restaurant and the Longevity Suite, devoted to wellbeing; the Madison House private members’ club is slated for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Grand Hyatt Singapore

Not an opening, but a complete transformation: the Terrace Wing (292 rooms) reopened in July 2024, followed by the Grand Wing (407 rooms), designed by Strickland, in 2025. Add to that Sergio Herman’s Le Pristine restaurant and the Damai wellness space. The rate, with free cancellation, was the same on the official website.

What will Singapore open by 2028?

NoMad Singapore

Hotel Indigo Changi Airport

Developed by OUE for the IHG brand, the hotel will rise over seven levels around a “floating forest”. Its roof will hold a day club, a bar and an infinity pool facing the runways, and it is aiming for the title of Singapore’s first zero-energy hotel.

Aman Singapore

Aman will occupy levels 24 to 26 of The Skywaters, a 63-storey, 305-metre tower designed by SOM that is set to become Singapore’s tallest. The spa will take up an entire floor around an infinity pool, and the Aman Residences will sit on levels 28 to 30, with a private club. Kerry Hill Architects will design interiors inspired by the city’s black-and-white bungalows.
