Mandarin Oriental’s press release, dated 5 November 2026, speaks of a first for the region. The hotel’s website is more specific: this is the first and only Missoni Resort Club in Morocco, and a first in the country for a pool dressed in this way. Behind the name is Missoni, the Italian fashion and knitwear house founded in 1953 by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, whose creative director is now Alberto Caliri.

The pattern covers three elements of the Pool Garden: the parasols, the daybed cushions and the towels. Four colours make up the palette: navy blue, turquoise, cream and bright green. In the aerial views published by the hotel, the parasols ring the pool, and the towels carry both names, Mandarin Oriental and Missoni Resort Club.

The Pool Garden will keep its Missoni colours for at least a year. Launched in November, the club will therefore run through all four seasons rather than just the summer. There are two ways in: a stay in one of the resort’s villas, or a day pass. Advance booking is required, and access depends on availability.

The Pool Garden Day Pass costs 2,000 MAD per adult, MAD being the code for the Moroccan dirham. This is the hotel’s rate, checked on its website on 5 November 2026, and it varies with the season, subject to availability. It includes a three-course lunch and access to the main pool from 11am until sunset. Lunch at the Pool Garden is served from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. Children aged 5 to 11 get a 50% reduction, and the pass is free for under-fives.

Massage and spa for 2,200 dirhams

A second option is aimed at those who also want to take in the spa. The Wellness Day Pass at 2,200 MAD combines a 30-minute massage, a two-course lunch at the Pool Garden and access to the spa and pools, from 11am to 8pm. For 200 dirhams more than the pool pass, you gain the massage and the spa, while lunch drops from three courses to two.
