Twelve more cruises until 20 March 2028
The Amangati’s Caribbean season will begin on 21 November 2027 with a round trip from Saint John’s, the capital of Antigua. The new dates stretch it into spring: the final cruise will end on 20 March 2028, before the yacht heads back to Europe. Four regions are on the programme: the northern Leeward Islands, the Windward Islands, the Dutch Caribbean (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao) and, new this season, the Greater Antilles.
The yacht has no single home port. Depending on the cruise, guests will board in Saint John’s, Bridgetown (Barbados), Philipsburg (Sint Maarten), Oranjestad (Aruba) or La Romana, in the Dominican Republic.
Bound for Samaná, Cap Cana and La Romana

The Greater Antilles cruise will leave Philipsburg on 7 January 2028 for seven nights. It will call at the Prickly Pear Cays, islets off Anguilla, then at Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. After a day at sea come three stops in the Dominican Republic: Samaná Bay, Cap Cana and La Romana, where the cruise ends on 14 January. The return leg, from La Romana to Saint John’s, lasts eight nights, from 14 to 22 January.
At the stern, the marina will open straight onto the sea, with two floating platforms, water toys and two tenders for waterskiing or excursions.
Which ports of call in Martinique and St Barts?
In February, two seven-night cruises will link Barbados and Antigua via the Windward Islands. From 11 to 18 February, the route takes in Canouan, Soufrière in St Lucia, Saint-Pierre in Martinique, Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe, Portsmouth in Dominica and Basseterre in St Kitts. From 25 February to 3 March, the reverse journey adds Little Bay in Montserrat and Bequia, in the Grenadines.
The final cruise, from 15 to 20 March, will call at Les Anses-d’Arlet in Martinique, then Portsmouth, Basseterre and Gustavia, on St Barts. Further south, a six-night cruise will sail from Bridgetown to Aruba from 28 January to 3 February 2028, via the Tobago Cays and St George’s, in Grenada.
47 suites, each with a private terrace

Designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and registered in Malta, the Amangati will carry up to 94 guests across nine decks. Its suites take their cue from the ryokan, the traditional Japanese inn, with ceilings up to 2.5 m high and floor-to-ceiling windows. The Deluxe Suite will measure 65 to 68 m², the Grand Suite 102 m² and the Aman Suite 354 m², with a massage room and a hot tub on the terrace. Every suite will have its own Suite Host, a dedicated attendant.
A spa with a two-level Japanese garden
The brand bills its Aman spa as the largest wellness space in luxury yachting. It will bring together a two-level Japanese garden, eight sea-facing treatment suites with terraces and hot tubs, a banya (Russian sauna), a hammam and a Medi Spa for medically focused treatments. On deck, the pool will measure 16 metres, next to a fitness studio.
Akari, Hiori, Aman Grill: four restaurants

The yacht will have eight restaurants and bars, four of them restaurants: Akari for Japanese cuisine and omakase, the menu left to the chef’s choice; Hiori for teppanyaki, cooked on a hotplate in front of diners; the Aman Grill for fire cooking; and Alira for Mediterranean cuisine. A cigar lounge and a jazz club inspired by the one at Aman New York round off the line-up.
