Up to the 47th floor, 93 m² facing the Golden Gate
The Landmark Suite sits on the 41st, 45th, 46th and 47th floors of the tower. Its 93 m² are split between two outlooks: the living room faces the San Francisco skyscrapers, the bedroom the Golden Gate Bridge, a view the hotel bills as uninterrupted. Four Seasons describes it as a residential-style suite, designed for living in the city much as you would in your own flat.
Two bedrooms? Just one, plus a sofa bed

The press release speaks of a suite laid out “like a two-bedroom”. In practice, the suite has a single bedroom, with a king-size bed, plus a separate living room whose sofa converts into a bed. That living room also holds a workspace and a dining table. A rollaway bed and a cot are available on request; the suite sleeps up to four, including no more than three children.
Two bathrooms and a tub by the window
The suite has two full bathrooms. Each has its own marble basin, a large shower and a deep bathtub; one of the two tubs stands against a window, high above the city. The hotel names no designer for this new version of the suite.
What it costs: 4,910 US dollars a night

Checked on the official booking site on 20 October 2026, the Landmark Suite starts at 4,910 US dollars a night before tax, or roughly 4,200 euros, for the night of 10 to 11 November 2026 and two adults. By comparison, the hotel’s cheapest room, the 33 m² Superior Skyline-View Room overlooking the city, starts at 727 US dollars before tax (about 620 euros) for the night of 15 to 16 November.
The hotel pairs the announcement with the City Suites, Elevated offer, valid across all its premium suites and not just the Landmark Suite. From three nights, it includes a return airport transfer, 250 US dollars of dining credit and 100 US dollars of laundry credit, once per stay, on selected dates from 20 October 2026 to 31 December 2027. Four Seasons is also betting on suite stays in Boston, where the brand’s hotel is opening 11 suites to rent by the month.
The top 11 floors of a 48-storey tower
The hotel occupies the top eleven floors of a 48-storey tower completed in 1987 at 222 Sansome Street, in San Francisco’s business district (the Financial District). The tower was designed by the architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM); reception is on the ground floor. Bought in May 2019 by the investment firm Westbrook Partners, it has housed a Four Seasons-branded hotel since October 2020, renovated with interiors by the Marzipan studio.
The property has 155 rooms, including 28 suites. Glass-walled panoramic walkways, the Sky Bridges, feature on most of the guest-room floors. The hotel is run by Janet Wruck.
Two MICHELIN Keys, three years running
On 14 October 2026, the hotel announced that it had retained two MICHELIN Keys for the third year running. The Keys are the MICHELIN Guide’s award reserved for hotels; in San Francisco, only two properties hold two, this one included. For the wider picture, see our round-up of the 2026 MICHELIN Keys worldwide.
On the ground floor, the Orafo restaurant serves Italian-Californian cooking across 118 covers. In September the pop-up bar Weather Permitting opened on the 40th-floor terrace, on Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm until sunset. The hotel has no spa, but there is a gym on the 3rd floor and an in-room wellness collection. For a drink elsewhere in town, the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco hotel has opened Bruma, its Nob Hill cocktail lounge.
