The brand puts it plainly: “Bazaar is Back in Miami”. José Andrés Group presents Bazaar Meat as the return of the energy and festive spirit that The Bazaar once brought to Miami, in a steakhouse reimagined for the Miami of today. The restaurant sits within the Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa; opening hours have not yet been published, but tables can already be reserved online.

The dining room is designed to be dark, seductive and theatrical, with the kitchen on stage: guests watch the finest cuts seared over the flame, alongside farm vegetables and modern tapas. Among the promised bites is a Cubano “like you’ve never tasted”, a nod to Miami’s signature sandwich.

Hyatt, for its part, mentions tableside presentations, a build-your-own martini ritual, Wagyu, seafood, reinvented classics and inventive cocktails. The menu and prices for the Miami Beach outpost have not yet been revealed; the published images of the dining room are renderings.

A table awaited since May 2025

When the hotel opened on 6 May 2025, Hyatt announced three José Andrés Group concepts: Aguasal and Bar Centro, open from day one, and a The Bazaar restaurant promised for late 2025. In the end it is Bazaar Meat that arrives, in autumn 2026. Aguasal serves Mediterranean cuisine inspired “from Miami to Mallorca”; Bar Centro moves from coffee and pastries in the morning to cocktails and tapas in the evening.

Other American hotels are also handing their restaurants or bars to an outside name, as with the New York bar Sip & Guzzle’s residency at the Four Seasons Chicago. In Miami Beach, all three of the Andaz’s restaurants bear the same signature, that of José Andrés Group.

The Andaz Miami Beach occupies the former The Confidante Miami Beach, fully renovated by EoA Group with Hyatt Lifestyle Group’s design team, on behalf of owner Sunstone Hotel Investors. The first Andaz in Florida, it has 287 rooms including 64 suites, most with ocean or skyline views. The brand continues to grow in the region, with the Andaz Turks & Caicos resort announced for April 2027.

There is no reception desk here: every guest is welcomed seated, cocktail in hand. Mid-Beach, close to South Beach but quieter, offers a private white-sand beach; across the bay, Miami is preparing other addresses, such as the Mandarin Oriental on Brickell Key.
