From a 2017 hotel to India’s first LXR
LXR Hotels & Resorts is Hilton’s collection of independent luxury hotels: more than 40 properties open or in the pipeline, each with its own story and style, far from hotels that look the same from one city to the next. It is also preparing the Maravé Manuel Antonio resort in Costa Rica. “Each hotel has its own story, character and point of view,” says Dino Michael, Hilton’s senior vice president for luxury, who promises a “more intimate and unexpected” way to discover a destination.
The Den is not a new hotel, though. It opened on 1 December 2017 as the first hotel of the Israeli group Dan Hotels outside Israel. It is owned by Dan Hospitality India and is now managed by Hilton. Its general manager, Vinesh Gupta, speaks of a “new chapter” for a house that has “always had a close bond with Whitefield”.
Whitefield, Bengaluru’s tech district

Bengaluru, long known as Bangalore, is the capital of the state of Karnataka and India’s “Silicon Valley”. The hotel stands in Whitefield, the city’s tech district, on ITPL Main Road. It is designed for business trips, holidays and long stays.
At Hilton, the choice of city is no accident. India is “one of the most important growth markets” for the group, explains Zubin Saxena, senior vice president and head of South Asia, and Bengaluru is “a natural market” for this new step.
226 rooms designed for a good night’s sleep
The hotel has 226 rooms, studios and suites, with soothing interiors and easy-to-use technology. In the photos released by Hilton, the bathrooms are clad in travertine, with a bathtub and walk-in shower.
The new The Pause programme is all about rest: a stress-free arrival, a sleep kit and pillow menu in the room, and nourishing options on The Creek’s menu. The hotel also joins the Hilton Honors loyalty programme: points, online check-in, room selection and a digital key.
Layla, an Indo-Mediterranean rooftop

On the roof, Layla pairs Indian flavours with Mediterranean cooking, facing the city lights. Downstairs, The Creek is open all day with a menu of varied cuisines, The Deli serves speciality coffee and pastries, and The Cold Press offers cold-pressed juices and smoothies. In the evening, The Nest bar combines cocktails with programmed nights.
A spa, a pool and a cinema room
The spa, The Sanctuary, offers treatments that blend contemporary practices with traditional healing methods. It is complemented by The Studio gym and an outdoor pool surrounded by greenery.
For leisure, The Playhouse brings together digital table games and billiards, while The Cave, an immersive screening room, hosts corporate meetings and evenings with friends. For weddings and conferences, the hotel offers around 1,950 m² of space across seven venues: a ballroom, an auditorium, meeting rooms and an open-air amphitheatre.
What to do around the hotel in Whitefield?

With Whitefield Unscripted, the hotel takes its guests out and about. The Whitefield Verandah Trail winds past the area’s old bungalows and long-standing institutions. Whitefield’s Farm Story takes guests to pick produce at a local farm, followed by a bespoke meal prepared by the hotel’s kitchen team.
How much is a night? From €290
For the night of 24 to 25 November 2026, a king room for two adults costs €290, taxes and fees included, on a non-refundable rate, with breakfast extra (€16). With free cancellation, the same night rises to €341. Prices checked on 20 October 2026.
