A short hop from Geneva international airport and the Palexpo exhibition centre, the Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre has been a fixture of Swiss hotel-keeping for years. In 2025 the house entered a new phase: a full renovation, an enriched wellness offer and a rediscovery of its signature suites. A breath of modernity is blowing through the largest hotel in Switzerland.
We were able to see the first stage of the works and to test the new rooms and suites, which are built around renewal and experience. The rest of the hotel will be reworked during 2026.

A renovation that goes deep
After several months of carefully staged work, the Hilton Geneva is showing the outline of a bold transformation. The public areas, the rooms and the social spaces have been rethought to offer a more contemporary, brighter and more inspiring atmosphere, while keeping the straightforward hospitality the brand is known for.
The aim is to give every guest, whether a business traveller, a delegate or a visitor passing through, a richer, more immersive stay firmly anchored in the present.
Suites that feel like apartments
With close to 500 rooms, including several categories of suite, the Hilton Geneva Hotel and Conference Centre wins on volume and comfort. The suites are generously sized and feel both hushed and bright, with design touches and modern equipment.
The bedding is excellent, and some suites even come with a private balcony.
The hotel also personalises the welcome for guests staying in a suite: frequent upgrades for Hilton Honors members, priority check-in, and a close eye on detail with welcome snacks in the room.
A wellness club of 1500 square metres
The beating heart of the hotel, the LivingWell Health Club, covers more than 1500 square metres. It holds:
- A large heated indoor pool, filled with natural light
- A spacious jacuzzi
- A hammam, a sauna and a relaxation area
- A fully equipped gym, with Technogym machines and a cross-training zone
What stands out here is the cleanliness, the size of the pool and the calm of the room. A few guests would like the water a degree or two warmer, but overall the wellness area counts among the best in the region for an airport hotel.
L’Olivo, the hotel’s Mediterranean table
On the ground floor, the restaurant L’Olivo has an identity of its own. Under chef Emmanuel Garde, the kitchen works with local produce. The setting is contemporary and calm, and opens onto a planted terrace in fine weather.

A breakfast built for early departures
The buffet breakfast, served between 6:00 and 10:00, offers a wide choice: fresh pastries, Swiss produce, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
