Grand Jardin: France’s Largest Hotel Farm Opens in Perche in September 2026

Last updated:

Two hours from Paris, in the heart of the Perche region, the **Grand Jardin** project reaches a key milestone. Romain Viennois, its founder, unveils the **show suite** which foreshadows what will become, upon full opening in September 2026, France’s largest hotel farm. In Lamblore (Eure-et-Loir), a restored ancient farm will host 15 suites ranging from 50 to 150 sq m, at the heart of an active farm based on regenerative agriculture and responsible tourism.

A Former Perche Farm Restored into a Hotel

Located in Lamblore, the hotel section of the Grand Jardin project is taking shape within the farm buildings, which have been restored using sustainable materials. The show suite, unveiled recently, embodies the venue’s DNA: « the autonomy and comfort of a gîte, combined with hotel services, all within the heart of an active farm. » The architectural approach focuses on light-filled spaces and a constant dialogue between the interior and the Perche landscape.

« Spring is back, and with it, wonderful news! I am delighted to finally announce the opening of the show suite. We work every day to create a true haven of peace, just two hours from Paris. »

Glamping in July, the Hotel in September

Before the full opening of the hotel site, Grand Jardin will offer a first immersion from **July 2026** through farm glamping. Several spacious cotton tents will be set up in the heart of the meadows, distanced from each other. Another way to experience the stay: more outdoors than indoors, fewer screens, and a direct reconnection with nature, with free access to the farm.

The full opening of the hotel site is expected in **September 2026**. The project was conceived after two years of observation and planning, with detailed notes on materials, colours, and design principles having been passed to the architects to bring this first show suite to life.

15 Suites from 50 to 150 sq m at the Heart of an Active Farm

At full capacity, Grand Jardin will feature **15 suites ranging from 50 to 150 sq m**, capable of accommodating up to **100 people**. The establishment is situated at the crossroads of agriculture and ecotourism, with the stated ambition of re-enchanting local tourism. The farm is also beginning its second season, with organic vegetable production soon to be complemented by eggs and cut flowers.

A Regenerative Ecotourism Project Supported by the ERDF

Founded in 2021 by Romain Viennois, Grand Jardin is a unique place dedicated to the practice and discovery of **regenerative agriculture**. The project is supported by the European Union via the **European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)** and champions a strong belief: the tourism sector has a role to play in the ecological transition. Nestled in the Perche, within redeveloped ancient farm buildings, Grand Jardin promotes local agriculture and a warm welcome, in a setting that is both idyllic and environmentally friendly.
