Plaza Athénée: ice rink and afternoon tea from €90
On Avenue Montaigne, the Cour Jardin once again becomes Le Chalet du Plaza Athénée from 26 November 2026 to 31 January 2027, complete with its ice rink. It opens from 3pm to 7pm, Wednesday to Sunday, then daily from 2pm to 7pm during the holidays, from 21 December to 3 January. In the evening, the chalet serves fondue at €225 per guest, including an hour of skating from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
In the afternoon, La Galerie serves a Christmas afternoon tea from €90 per guest, created by Angelo Musa and Damien Gibault: indulgent hot chocolate and a miniature bûche de Noël (Yule log). Children who take the “Tea Time enfant” (children’s tea) then get access to the ice rink. The festive booklet lists it from 1 December to 3 January, the website’s Festivités page from 3 December to 1 January: confirm when booking on +33 1 53 67 66 03.

For the festive meals, the palace has planned a €140 children’s menu from 24 December to 1 January, served in all its restaurants: smoked salmon and blinis, chicken supreme with pommes dauphine, then a vanilla and chocolate dessert shaped like a present. On the evening of the 24th, Christmas Eve dinner at the Relais Plaza costs €430, and €215 for under-12s.
Stories and tea at the Crillon, from €25 a child
On Place de la Concorde, the Hôtel de Crillon’s Christmas 2026 takes its cue from Jules Verne’s Extraordinary Voyages. From 25 November to 10 January, the Librairie Le Petit Crillon welcomes children with stories, festive postcards and afternoon tea. The “Récits d’histoires extraordinaires” sessions (Tales of Extraordinary Stories), held in French, are for ages 4-7 and 7-10: a storyteller, then the pastry chef’s afternoon tea, from €25.
Sessions are booked online, for example on Wednesday 2 December, with a full refund up to 72 hours before. The year-round Le Petit Crillon programme adds a children’s tea time by Matthieu Carlin, with hot chocolate or fresh fruit juice, a dressing-up wardrobe and children’s menus with colouring sheets. For parents, the festive tea time in the Jardin d’Hiver costs €120 from 26 November to 3 January, and the Chalet d’hiver is open from 25 November to 10 January.
Festive brunches: €60 to 155 per child
On the morning of Friday 25 December, the Plaza Athénée includes the ice rink in the children’s price : €290 per adult and €145 for under-12s at the Restaurant des Petits Déjeuners, from 12.30pm to 2.15pm, or €310 and €155 in the Haute Couture and Organza salons, with live music. It is free for under-5s. At the Crillon, the brunch by Alan Taudon and Matthieu Carlin costs €245 per adult and €125 per child.

On Avenue Hoche, the Royal Monceau charges €135 for ages 7 to 13 for its Christmas brunch at La Cuisine, served from noon to 4pm, against €270 per adult; it is free up to age 6. The royal brunch on 1 January keeps the same prices, with a magician and workshops for children. On the Left Bank, the Lutetia serves a festive brunch every Sunday from 6 December to 3 January at €155, €95 for under-12s. For the adult menus on the 24th and 25th, see our guide to Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas brunch in the palaces.
Outside the palace list, the Hôtel du Collectionneur, a five-star hotel on Rue de Courcelles, offers the most creative programme for little ones : every Sunday from 29 November to 20 December, from noon to 3pm, its “Brunch Chocolat” includes a workshop where each child makes and decorates their own chocolate bar with chocologist Victoire Finaz. Children also receive postcards to slip into Father Christmas’s letterbox. Allow €120 per adult with a glass of champagne, €60 for ages 4 to 12, free under 3.
Christmas afternoon teas: €90 to 125 per person
The cheapest is the Lutetia’s Christmas Afternoon Tea, at €90 per person, beneath the glass roof of the Salon Saint-Germain, every weekend from 21 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, from 3pm to 6pm, with a hot chocolate. At The Peninsula, Anne Coruble’s “L’Heure du Thé de Noël” (Christmas Tea Hour) starts at €95 excluding drinks, from 1 to 30 December except the 6th, 13th, 20th and 25th: the palace presents it as a tea for young and old alike, detailed in our article.
At Le Meurice, Le Dalí serves a festive tea time at €125 with a hot drink, from 23 November to 3 January, except 25 and 31 December and 1 January, with no children’s offer in its booklet. The Ritz Paris, which is not on the palace list, serves its Christmas tea in the Salon Marie-Louise at €125, from 18 December to 3 January. To compare with the year-round menus, see the afternoon teas of the Paris palaces in 2026.

On request, its Suite Signature package decorates the suite on a North Pole (Pôle Nord) or Nutcracker (Casse-Noisette) theme, with Epicure’s Christmas dinner served in the suite. The tourist tax, €15.93 per night per adult, is extra.
The Peninsula takes 50% off the connecting room for children aged 12 and under, breakfasts and pool included, from €2,775 for the two rooms, excluding peak dates. Four palaces have published nothing for 2026
As of 30 October, the Cheval Blanc Paris still shows its Christmas 2025 : last year, its Le Carrousel club became an enchanted forest for ages 4-12, with workshops every afternoon and Father Christmas arriving on 24 December. Nothing yet confirms this edition for 2026. The Shangri-La Paris only offers a year-round family package, from €3,500 a night; La Réserve and the Bvlgari have put nothing online.
Book early: slots from 19 December to 3 January go first, and the Plaza’s ice rink is reserved for children booked for afternoon tea or brunch. For the Christmas Eve dessert, see the 2026 Christmas Yule logs of the Paris palaces.
