A night for two, from €1,580 to 2,800

Four palaces sell a genuine night as a gift voucher, with an open date and breakfast included. The recipient then books directly, subject to availability, and pays the city tax on site. The other hotels have no ready-to-give night: you need a gift card for any amount instead.

Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, €1,580 on the Left Bank

The palace on boulevard Raspail offers the cheapest palace night to give in Paris: the “Lutetia Discovery Stay”, one night for two in a Grand Superior Room with American breakfast, at €1,580. Allow €1,950 for a Deluxe Balcony Room and €1,990 for the “Relax in Paris” package, a night and a spa treatment for two. Valid for 12 months, as a digital or physical card, with city tax of €15.93 per person per day on top.

Shangri-La Paris, the Eiffel Tower at the window

The former palace of Prince Roland Bonaparte sells its “Spectacular Stay for Two”: €1,800 a night for two in a Superior Room, breakfast included, and €3,600 in an Eiffel View Room, facing the tower. The voucher is sent by email, valid for 12 months and refundable within 14 days of purchase.

Le Bristol Paris, €1,900 on the Faubourg

On rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the “Séjour & Petits-Déjeuners” voucher (stay and breakfasts) includes one night for two in a Deluxe double room, breakfasts and access to the rooftop pool, sauna, hammam and garden, for €1,900. It also comes as “Bien-être” (wellness, €2,135) and “Gastronomique” (gourmet, €2,625). Valid for 365 days, sent by email or post, with city tax of €15.60 per night per adult on top.

La Réserve Paris, €2,800 on avenue Gabriel

On avenue Gabriel, La Réserve sells a night in a 40 m² Chambre Prestige for €2,800, with breakfast for two and butler service included, €5,600 for two nights and €6,600 in the Suite Eiffel. The voucher is sent by email and must be used in one go within a year of purchase; city tax of €15.93 per person per day is not included.

Afternoon tea, the palace gift from €75

It is the most affordable palace gift. The Lutetia leads the way at €75 per person at Le Saint-Germain, beneath the glass roof, on Saturdays and Sundays (€95 with a glass of champagne). The Shangri-La serves “The Prince’s Afternoon Tea” at €85 (€170 for two), Le Bristol its Tea Time at €95 per person, and Le Meurice Cédric Grolet’s Tea Time at Le Dalí restaurant, at €95.

At the Plaza Athénée, Angelo Musa’s afternoon tea with a glass of champagne costs €95 per person, or €115 for the Plaza Athénée version with champagne. The Peninsula sells “L’Heure du Thé Prestige” (prestige teatime) in the Lobby for two, with a flute of Deutz champagne, at €210. At the Crillon, the “Sweet Moment” in the Jardin d’Hiver, with pastries by Matthieu Carlin and a glass of champagne, starts at €138 for one. To compare the menus, see our guide to afternoon tea in the Paris palaces.

Watch the calendar: afternoon tea vouchers cannot be used over the festive season. The Plaza Athénée’s is not accepted from 28 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, Le Meurice’s cannot be booked from 23 November to 3 January inclusive, The Peninsula excludes the end-of-year holidays and public holidays, and the Lutetia excludes its festive teas. Given at Christmas, the treat is therefore enjoyed in January.

Spas and Michelin-starred tables from €120

For dinner, Fouquet’s Paris is the cheapest, with a gourmet menu at €120 per person: three courses, two paired glasses of wine and a glass of Fouquet’s cuvée champagne, at dinner only, excluding Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day, booked 48 hours ahead. At Cheval Blanc, lunch or dinner at the Michelin-starred Le Tout-Paris costs €135 per person and the “Gourmet escape” €420 for two; the two-star Japanese restaurant Hakuba starts at €420 per person.

Among three-star chefs, La Réserve sells Jérôme Banctel’s seven-course menu at Le Gabriel for €350 per person, Le Bristol lunch or dinner at Epicure with wine pairing at €1,740 for two, and the Plaza Athénée its gourmet menu with pairing at €455 per person. At Le Royal Monceau, the Sunday royal brunch at La Cuisine costs €160 and Il Carpaccio’s “L’Incontro” menu €175.

For the spa, allow from €210 for a 50-minute massage at Le Royal Monceau to €235 for a one-hour Californian massage at Le Meurice, €240 at the Lutetia, La Réserve or the Shangri-La, €270 at Le Bristol and €280 at the Dior Spa at Cheval Blanc. The Crillon offers an “Afternoon at The Spa” at €300, Le Bristol a “Spa & Tea Time” at €365.

Any amount: the card that lets them choose

A monetary gift card remains the simplest option if you are unsure. The Plaza Athénée and Le Meurice offer cards with no expiry date, from €50 to €5,000 for the former and from €100 for the latter, or for any amount you choose, in digital or physical form. The Rosewood card sold by the Crillon, from €100 to 2,000, does not expire either and can be used in all the group’s hotels; the same goes for the Mandarin Oriental card, valid at the Lutetia.

Elsewhere, the voucher is valid for 365 days and can be used only once: that is the rule at Le Bristol, Cheval Blanc and Le Royal Monceau, whose vouchers for any amount cover rooms, restaurants, bar or spa, and at La Réserve, which splits its vouchers into Hotel, Spa and Restaurants. The Shangri-La sells vouchers from €50 to 500, valid for 12 months; The Peninsula a dining card from €100 to 2,000, for use in its restaurants only.

Two special cases. The George V points to the Four Seasons group gift card, which can be used for a night, a dinner or a treatment in any of the brand’s hotels, from 100 to 2,000 dollars for a physical card, or in euros for the e-card. The Bvlgari Hotel Paris, for its part, offers no gift card on its website: its online shop is limited to Bvlgari Dolci sweets.

Before you pay, five things to check

Book early, as no voucher guarantees a date: every shop states “subject to availability”, and several exclude certain periods. The voucher often has to be shown on arrival, on paper for Barrière gift boxes. On nights, city tax is still payable: €15.60 per adult at Le Bristol, €15.93 per person at La Réserve and the Lutetia.

Think about delivery time: the e-card goes out immediately, the paper card takes several days, 5 to 7 working days for €4.50 at Barrière. A one-time voucher for any amount gives no change, so it is best to get the amount right. Finally, the Ritz Paris, the Mandarin Oriental on rue Saint-Honoré and the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme are not on the 2026 Atout France list, so they are left out of this table.

To round off the gift, see the 2026 Christmas yule logs of the Paris palaces, the Christmas Eve menus and the 25 December brunch in our palace Christmas guide, and the full list of France’s 33 palaces.
