Le Normandy and its Guerlain spa, in Deauville
Built in 1912 just a few metres from the Planches boardwalk, this grand Anglo-Norman property is as much a symbol of Deauville as it is a hotel. Coco Chanel, Charles III, and Claude Lelouch have all slept here, and the American Film Festival makes it its headquarters every summer. The rooms showcase Toile de Jouy fabrics, with views of the sea, the apple trees of the Cour Normande, or the glass roof of the pool.

La Ferme Saint Siméon and its potager spa
On the heights of Honfleur, this 17th-century inn where Mère Toutain once fed future Impressionist painters has been a Relais & Châteaux member since 1964 and celebrated its bicentenary in 2025. Of its 35 rooms, 20 feature a private hammam, a unique feature found nowhere else on the Côte Fleurie. The gourmet restaurant is called Les Impressionnistes, and the bistro is La Boucane.
The Spa Potager was built within the property’s historic vegetable garden and a former painter’s studio: featuring a sauna overlooking the Seine estuary, a hammam, and an outdoor hot tub. It is not shared, but booked exclusively for private use in 90-minute slots from 9 am to 8:30 pm, for one to four guests, priced at €220 (recorded on 20 September 2026). Le Manoir de la Poterie, in Cricquebœuf
Halfway between Deauville and Honfleur, 400 metres from the sea, this four-star hotel feels like an enlarged guest house: 23 rooms and a suite, ranging from 24 to 36 m², set in nearly two hectares of grounds opening onto the Bay of Seine. The owner champions unpretentious elegance and stretched fabric as a passion, resulting in meticulously designed rooms and service that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
The Spa les Thermes is centred around a light-filled 17-metre pool heated to 30 °C year-round, complete with an overflow jacuzzi, balneotherapy bench, submerged massage jets, and a sunbathing solarium.
