Quai du Louvre. Behind the Art Deco facade of the former Samaritaine, restored with millions by LVMH, the palace hotel, which opened in September 2021, has in two years become the new benchmark for luxury in Paris. With only 72 rooms and suites, all facing the Seine or the rooftops · an intimate format that contrasts sharply with the 200+ rooms of historical palace hotels.
Peter Marino at the Helm
LVMH’s favourite interior architect has created a contemporary environment here, where marble, velvet, and contemporary artworks (Tracey Emin, Tony Cragg, etc.) coexist with finesse. Each room is a suite: a minimum of 70 m², with Seine views, and an integrated dressing room.
Plénitude, ⭐⭐⭐ Michelin in Two Years
On the palace hotel’s rooftop, Arnaud Donckele, the three-Michelin-starred chef from La Vague d’Or in Saint-Tropez, achieved the fastest performance in Michelin Guide history at Cheval Blanc Paris: 3 stars in its very first year of opening (2022). The cuisine, focused on sauces and jus, coupled with the panoramic view of the Seine, makes it a unique dining experience.
Dior Spa and Vaulted Pool
Cheval Blanc’s Dior Spa Paris is among the most impressive in the capital: a 30-metre vaulted swimming pool, hammam, signature treatments, and a Seine-view terrace. The ritual “L’Or de Paris” remains exclusive to the palace hotel.
