From the Waldorf Astoria Tokyo to the NoMad Detroit: the 11 luxury hotels Hilton will open in 2027

A Waldorf Astoria on the 39th floor of a Tokyo tower, a 1913 railway station in Detroit, a private beach on Corfu: on 29 October 2026 Hilton published the openings it has planned for 2027. Eleven hotels from its luxury brands will open in eight countries, from the first quarter to the end of the year. Here is each address, with its date and room count.

The announcement lists more than forty openings across all segments. We have kept only the luxury ones: the ten hotels the group places in that category, plus the Conrad Bangkok. Naples, Tainan, Bangkok: the early-2027 trio

Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort, Florida

This historic beach resort on Florida’s west coast will switch to the Signia Hilton flag in the first quarter of 2027. Its 474 rooms and 50 villas stretch along the Clam Pass mangroves. We covered the project in detail in our article on the Signia Naples.

Signia Hilton Tainan, Taiwan

The first Signia Hilton in Asia Pacific, this 344-room hotel, signed with Forte Hotel Group, was due to open in July 2026: its opening has been pushed back to the first quarter of 2027. Its concept draws on the food scene of Tainan, in southern Taiwan.

Conrad Bangkok Sukhumvit Queen’s Park, Thailand

Missing from the announcement’s luxury list, it nonetheless carries the Conrad name, Hilton’s luxury brand. Bangkok’s second Conrad will open in the first quarter of 2027 with 300 rooms in the Sukhumvit district. It will have four restaurants, a spa, a bar and a rooftop pool.

Detroit: a hotel inside the 1913 station

In early spring 2027, the NoMad Detroit Michigan Central will open 176 rooms in the 1913 Beaux-Arts station, once the tallest railway station in the world. It will take up part of the historic base and the top five floors of the 15-storey tower, with a spa, a signature restaurant and a library bar. It will be Hilton’s first lifestyle luxury hotel, more relaxed in style, in the United States.

Corfu and 200 metres of private beach

In the south of the Greek island, the Conrad Corfu will open in spring 2027 with 136 rooms, suites and villas beside a 200-metre private beach. The villas will have a heated pool or a hot tub, set around a lagoon and an open-air cinema. The kitchen will be led by Michelin-starred chef Alexandros Tsiotinis.

Sydney and the Gold Coast: two Australian firsts

Waldorf Astoria Sydney

In the third quarter of 2027, Australia’s first Waldorf Astoria will open at Circular Quay, facing the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates and Crone. First announced for 2025, it will have 220 rooms, 41 of them suites. Chef Curtis Stone will open his first Australian restaurant there. LXR Hotels & Resorts Gold Coast

On the Southport Spit, a strip of land facing the Broadwater lagoon, Hilton will reposition the former Palazzo Versace, now run under the name The Imperial. Australia’s first LXR, it will offer 200 rooms from the third quarter of 2027, in neoclassical architecture with Italian interiors.

Two Waldorf Astorias, in Tokyo and Miami Beach

Waldorf Astoria Tokyo Nihonbashi

In autumn 2027, Tokyo’s first Waldorf Astoria will occupy the 39th to 47th floors of a tower in the Nihonbashi district, a Mitsui Fudosan project. Its 197 rooms will measure at least 60 m², alongside three restaurants, a Peacock Alley, the brand’s signature lounge bar, an indoor pool, a spa and a chapel. 71 branded residences will complete it.

Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach

In winter 2027, the former W South Beach at 2201 Collins Avenue will become a Waldorf Astoria for its owners, Reuben Brothers. All 348 suites will have sea views and a balcony, around a pool deck of some 4,460 m² with cabanas. In Pompano Beach, 92 Waldorf Astoria residences, 90% sold, will be handed over in summer 2027.

Jaipur or Phu Quoc to round off the year?

Signia Hilton Jaipur, India

In the fourth quarter of 2027, India’s first Signia Hilton will open in Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, with 289 rooms and villas with private pools. The resort will have a man-made lagoon, a ballroom of around 900 m², a spa and a kids’ club.

Conrad Phu Quoc, Vietnam

In late 2027, with 208 rooms, the Conrad Phu Quoc will bring Hilton’s first luxury brand to Vietnam. It joins the hotel hub built for the 2027 APEC summit (the Asia-Pacific economic forum), next to a 918-room Hilton. On the same island, the Park Hyatt Phu Quoc resort is due to open as early as 18 December 2026.
