The Cheval Blanc St-Barth hotel, the Caribbean’s only palace, welcomes Langosteria on Flamands Bay

On Flamands beach, in Saint-Barthélemy, the Cheval Blanc maison announced on 20 October 2026 the arrival of Langosteria, the Milanese seafood restaurant. St-Barth becomes the only Langosteria address outside Europe, according to the list published by the Italian house. The restaurant has been serving dinner since late October, ahead of the 2026-2027 season at the hotel, the only palace in the Caribbean.

A Milanese house, Langosteria is devoted to Italian-style seafood. It has addresses in Milan, London, Paraggi, Porto Cervo and St. Moritz, as well as in Paris, already within Cheval Blanc Paris. Saint-Barthélemy is its only table outside Europe, according to the list on its website. The Cheval Blanc group keeps growing too, with a first hotel in Italy, in Sardinia, expected in May 2027. With no photographs of the dining room yet, Cheval Blanc is illustrating the opening with a drawing for now.

According to Cheval Blanc’s announcement, the menu blends the Milanese house’s signature dishes with creations inspired by the island. Expect Crudi di Mare, including a bluefin tuna carpaccio, that is, raw fish and shellfish, robata dishes cooked on a Japanese-style grill, a black grouper chateaubriand and paccheri, wide tube-shaped pasta, with sea bass. For dessert, tiramisu and stracciatella ice cream bring Italy to mind.

Langosteria is open daily from 6pm to 11pm, by reservation on +590 590 27 10 81. The hotel’s website now lists two restaurants: Langosteria for dinner and La Cabane for lunch, feet in the sand, from noon to 8pm. A beach cocktail bar is open from 10am to 6pm, the Carte Blanche service answers around the clock and Le Kiosque serves as a bakery and pâtisserie.

Why is it the Caribbean’s only palace?

The Palace distinction is awarded by Atout France. On 2 June 2026, the agency unveiled its collection of 33 Palaces, including 27 distinctions renewed for three years. Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France is the only overseas establishment on it, which makes it, as it claims, the only palace in the Caribbean.
