230 m² over two decks at the stern
The villa will occupy decks 15 and 16, on the aft corner of the MSC World Atlantic, according to the official suite factsheet. The press release announces more than 2,475 square feet, or about 230 m², indoors and outdoors combined: the MSC website lists a 35 m² terrace on deck 15 and another of 30 m² on deck 16. Those 230 m² are therefore not living space alone.
At its heart will be a double-height living room with panoramic ocean views, beneath a ceiling MSC describes as “transformable”. Around it: a dining area, a private library, a kitchenette, a bar and a hanging chair facing the sea. The décor draws on the elegance of the Hamptons, the chic Long Island retreats near New York, and was designed with Storyland Studios, an international destination and experience design agency.
A climbing tower rises from the living room

For play, the villa will rely on a climbing tower rising from the living room up to a ship-inspired play area. There, a secret door will reveal a surprise every day, according to MSC. Outside, the large private ocean-facing terrace will bring together a hot tub, an outdoor lounge and deck games; no image of this terrace has been released yet.
Four bedrooms for eight passengers
The villa will sleep up to eight people in four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The master bedroom will have a walk-in wardrobe, a dressing table and a sea-view balcony with an outdoor shower. The children’s suite will line up custom-built bunk beds, with a screen for each bunk and a private bathroom. A double cabin and a twin room will complete the layout, enough to house several generations under one roof.
A private cinema and LEGO wall in the loft

Upstairs, the Entertainment Loft, the villa’s games and leisure space, will house a private cinema room, a digital game table and a LEGO wall. The climbing tower, for its part, is not in this loft: it starts from the living room.
For Gianni Onorato, chief executive of MSC Cruises, demand for family and multigenerational travel “continues to grow”. In his view, the villa reflects the company’s commitment to developing its premium family offering.
Butler included: what does the villa cost?
The villa will be part of the MSC Yacht Club, the line’s exclusive suite area, with its own restaurant. Guests will have a 24-hour butler and concierge, a dedicated housekeeping team, the Premium Extra drinks package, the Fun Pass, unlimited specialty dining and Wi-Fi. The official website adds priority embarkation and disembarkation and access to the thermal area of the MSC Aurea Spa.
The price, however, has not yet been published. MSC presents the villa as bookable now, but as of 23 October 2026, no rate is displayed: in the official booking tool it is not offered on the maiden voyage. Benchmarks noted the same day for that cruise, taxes and fees included: from 1,217 dollars per person in an inside cabin, and from 5,381 dollars per person in the MSC Yacht Club.
A 333-metre ship for 6,758 passengers

The MSC World Atlantic will be MSC Cruises’ new flagship, according to the company. Its official website lists a gross tonnage of 215,863 (the unit measuring a ship’s internal volume), a maximum of 6,758 passengers, 2,582 cabins, 2,142 crew members, a length of 333 m and a speed of 23 knots, or about 43 km/h. All views of the ship and the villa released so far are renderings.
Off to Ocean Cay and Cozumel, 13 November 2027
The ship will enter service in November 2027 from Port Canaveral, Florida. Its maiden voyage will depart on 13 November 2027 for seven nights, calling at Nassau, Ocean Cay, Cozumel and Costa Maya, in Mexico, before returning on 20 November. The ship will then alternate 7- and 14-night cruises in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, including Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the line’s private island in the Bahamas, and Grand Turk.
