Why Extendam is selling Le Lyret

Extendam, a specialist in hotel investment, purchased the hotel in 2022 with Mont-Blanc Collection, the Chamonix-based group owned by Martin Devictor. It was then called Les Gourmets and had belonged to the Pantalacci family since 1956. After operating it as it was for a few months, the two partners launched its transformation, then reopened it in December 2024 under the name Le Lyret. The sale closes this cycle: the fund says it is “particularly satisfied with the repositioning” and is selling the hotel “at a multiple in line” with its expectations, according to Bertrand Pullès, co-founder of Extendam, without disclosing any figures.

The interior design is by Emmanuelle de Laage, from the Decalaage Intérieur agency, alongside exhibition curator Laurène Maréchal. Six artists created permanent works inspired by Chamonix: Anna Tomaszewski, Sandra Liccioni, Bea Bonafini, Makiko Furuichi, Laetitia de Chocqueuse and Bianca Argimon. The name comes from the street and the hotel’s neighbourhood, with a Latin root referring to gravel.
