Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi is a brand-new build, owned by Silverwest Hotels and managed by Hilton. Designed by Hart Howerton with AHL, the architecture follows the model of Hawaiian bungalows with expansive lānais, set amongst monkeypod and banyan trees; the interiors by Looney & Associates play with the blues of the bay and the greens of the valleys. All 210 rooms, including 23 suites, feature a private balcony overlooking the Pacific, Hāʻupu Mountain or the golf course.

The signature restaurant, Figueira, situated opposite the 18th hole, offers Kauaʻi’s only Luso-Hawaiian concept in tribute to the island’s Portuguese immigrants, serving fisherman’s stew, baked bacalhau, pastel de nata and malasadas. By the pool, The Wiliwili serves poke bowls, plate lunches and shave ice. Both venues are overseen by Executive Chef Hans Lentz.
