In brief

  • The onboard gastronomic offer is signed by chefs Michel Roth and Danny Khezzar, with a wine selection by Antoine Pétrus.
  • The price for this premium experience starts from €179 or CHF 171.
  • The journey takes place at a speed of 320 km/h in a hushed environment including exclusive services such as the Train-Train (pas) Quotidien podcast.

A smooth departure, without stress or rushing

It is just past noon, and Gare de Lyon is bustling. Yet, away from the crowd, calm reigns in the Grand Voyageur lounge at Gare de Lyon. With a coffee in hand, we observe the comings and goings without the slightest tension. That is the magic of Première Signature: everything seems fluid, almost obvious.
A few minutes before departure, boarding takes place in silence, without queues, without beeps, or check-ins. The TGV Lyria glides out of Paris. Geneva is only 3h11 away! It is FAST!

Onboard TGV Lyria: comfort and elegance with a Franco-Swiss touch

In carriage 11, the atmosphere is hushed. Wide seats, soft fabrics, dimmed lighting · comfort is guaranteed.
Onboard, a catering host comes to greet us with a sincere smile. You can feel the attention, the kindness. Nothing is formatted: just a true sense of service, with a Franco-Swiss touch.
Around us, the Wi-Fi is fluid, the trilingual press is accessible with a click, and the landscape flashes by at high speed without us noticing. It is no longer just a journey: it is an interlude, a break in the rhythm of daily life.

A lunch signed by great chefs: Michel Roth and Danny Khezzar

Shortly after departure, the white tablecloth is spread. The service begins, with great delicacy.
The dishes are imagined by Michel Roth and Danny Khezzar · two chefs who combine French and Swiss flavours with disarming simplicity.

A fillet of zander and a carrot flan, a peach-verbena amandine: all accompanied by a glass of champagne or a selection of wines by Antoine Pétrus.
You forget you are on a train. This moment feels like a starred restaurant, except the scenery is moving at 320 km/h; it is magical.

The Franco-Swiss spirit, down to the details

Everything in this experience breathes care: from “La Fleur Nue” teas to seasonal local products, including the discreet attentions of the staff.

Even the soundtrack is designed to accompany the journey, an exclusive podcast (Train-Train (pas) Quotidien), entertainment (films, series), or trilingual press enhances the journey for those who like to be carried along.

A new way to travel

Arriving in Geneva after such a moment is a bit like stepping out of a “train spa”. No jet lag, no fatigue: just this feeling of having travelled differently.
TGV Lyria succeeds here in a rare feat: transforming a trip into a sensory and human experience, between Swiss hospitality and the French art of living.
A 3h11 journey, but a true moment of pause · elegant, gastronomic, and sustainable.

💡 My little tips for booking your TGV Lyria ticket :

  • Book early! The best fares fly away quickly. Tickets open up to 6 months in advance.
  • Travel off-peak: The best thing is to travel during the week · it is cheaper and available for longer. Yes, the weekend can also start in the middle of the week. (Pssst. The secret is to choose Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays.)

En somme, TGV Lyria Première Signature ne se contente pas de relier Paris à Genève : elle relie deux manières d’aimer le voyage. Le confort, le goût, la fluidité — et ce luxe discret qu’on appelle tout simplement l’attention aux détails.
