We Tested the Hôtel du Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées in Paris: All the Information and Our Full Review

By Raphaël Simon | 30 March 2026

We thought we knew Paris. Its hotels, its terraces, its iconic views, its confidential addresses shared almost under the cloak. And then there are those places that make you question everything. The Hôtel du Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées is one of them.

Just a few metres from the effervescence of the Champs-Élysées, this establishment plays a rare tune: that of discreet luxury. No excessive display, no showy staging. Just a promise, to experience Paris differently, in an almost unreal bubble.

Arrival: Leave the Noise, Enter a Cocoon

Upon entering, the contrast is striking. The street fades away, the pace slows. The lobby reveals a subtle Art Deco aesthetic, blended with perfectly mastered contemporary touches. The materials are noble, the lighting is subdued, and the atmosphere immediately sets the tone.

Here, the aim is not to impress. The aim is to evoke feeling. And it works.

The Hidden Spa: Unexpected Luxury in the Heart of Paris

It is undoubtedly one of the hotel’s greatest assets, yet it remains almost confidential.

In the basement, a heated indoor swimming pool is revealed in a hushed atmosphere. Far from impersonal spas, everything here is designed to create a true interlude. Soft lighting, silence, a feeling of space… you literally feel as if you are somewhere else.

The water is perfectly tempered, the lines are elegant, and above all, the atmosphere invites you to slow down. One lingers, forgets time, and completely disconnects.

Continuing this immersion, the hammam extends the experience. Enveloping steam, gentle warmth, immediate release. A true moment of well-being, rare to this extent in the very heart of Paris.

The Rooms: An Experience in Themselves

The rooms perfectly embody the DNA of the place: elegance, sobriety, absolute comfort. The colours are soothing, the materials carefully chosen, and every detail seems to have been precisely considered.

But what truly stands out is the experience they offer.

In certain categories, the bathroom becomes a true spectacle: a bathtub with a view of the Eiffel Tower. A suspended, almost unreal moment, where one finds oneself contemplating Paris while immersed in a bubble of comfort.

And as if that weren’t enough, some suites boast immense terraces. These genuine outdoor spaces, rare in the capital, completely transform the experience: coffee in the sun, a quiet break, an evening in complete privacy… a luxury almost impossible to find in this location.

Breakfast: Controlled Elegance

Breakfast mirrors the hotel’s character: simple, yet perfectly executed. Fresh pastries, quality products, carefully prepared hot drinks, savoury and lighter options.

No overload, no “XXL buffet” effect. Here, quality is prioritised over quantity. And it works perfectly.

One takes their time, extends the night, savours the moment. Exactly what one expects from this kind of establishment.

The Service: The Finishing Touch

The service rightly completes the experience. We were fortunate to be welcomed with a glass of champagne, which was fabulous. Present without being intrusive, attentive without being excessive. A truly high-quality welcome, which reinforces the feeling of being in a place designed for guest comfort.

It is these details, often unseen, that make all the difference at the end of a stay.

What We Liked Less

To be entirely transparent:

    • the breakfast could offer a little more variety for those accustomed to grand hotels,

    • The decor is a little dated, but it also contributes to the hotel’s charm.

However, nothing that detracts from the overall experience.

Verdict: Why Everyone Will Be Talking About It

The Hôtel du Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées achieves something rare: offering a complete, coherent, and sincere experience.

An intimate heated swimming pool, a hammam, a bathtub with an Eiffel Tower view, impressive terraces…
All these elements together create a memorable stay at this Esprit de France group hotel.

It’s not just a well-located hotel. It’s an address one remembers, recommends… and already plans to return to.
