Ad Vitam Eternam filmed in the bay
Netflix confirmed the sequel to Ad Vitam in mid-August 2026, under the working title Ad Vitam Eternam. Guillaume Canet reprises his role as Franck Lazareff, a former GIGN operative, which he co-wrote with Maxime Chattam and co-produced; direction is entrusted to Ludovic Colbeau-Justin. Filming, launched for several months across the Île-de-France, Normandy, Savoie and Provence regions, passed through Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay on 23 and 24 September, with around ten extras recruited from the Manche department.
No release date has been announced. The first film, released on 10 January 2025, accumulated approximately 54 million views in its first month, according to figures shared upon its release.
