This is our highest score in the department: 10/10. Sezz combines contemporary architecture, a Payot Spa, and a pool set amidst a Mediterranean garden, just minutes from central Saint-Tropez without any of the hustle and bustle.

2. Kube Saint-Tropez, the myBlend spa above the gulf

In Gassin, Kube offers a more dramatic setting: sweeping views across the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, renovated bedrooms, a myBlend spa and a hammam. We awarded it 9.9/10 following our test stay, with a slight caveat regarding value for money during peak season.
This is the ideal choice if you want Saint-Tropez views and atmosphere without staying right in the village.
3. Lily of the Valley, the most comprehensive spa in the department
Overlooking Gigaro Bay, Lily of the Valley was built around wellness rather than adding it as an afterthought. The Shape Club spans 2,000 m² dedicated to sport, nutrition and recovery, offering multi-day programmes led by expert coaches.
This is the property to choose if the spa is the main reason for your trip rather than just a nice extra. Note: the wellness concept runs year-round, which is rare along this stretch of coast.
4. Terre Blanche, spa and golf in the High Var
Terre Blanche is a true resort: suites and villas dotted across the estate, two golf courses, a Michelin-starred restaurant and a 3,200 m² spa. It offers a family-friendly, sporty experience in the region, just forty minutes from the coast.
Its defining asset is space, something the coast simply cannot offer during the summer months.
5. Château de Berne, the spa among the vineyards
Set within a 1,000-hectare estate including 175 hectares of vineyards, Château de Berne lays out its rooms like a traditional Provençal hamlet. The spa, indoor pool and dining reflect the spirit of a wine estate rather than a coastal hotel, wrapped in a welcoming family vibe.
It is the perfect choice for a two- or three-night getaway, including during the low season, when seaside proximity is not a priority.
6. Hostellerie du Cigalou, charming boutique style

In Bormes-les-Mimosas, Hostellerie du Cigalou presents a delightful alternative: a fully renovated house, a pool, and an intimate scale where you’ll know all the staff within two days. We scored it 8.7/10, offering exceptional value for money out of season.
