- The Carlton Cannes reopened in 2023 following a comprehensive renovation project costing €500 Million.
- The property now features 332 rooms and suites, alongside two new residential wings and a 1,200 m² spa.
- Located at 58 boulevard de la Croisette, the 5-star hotel is a historic landmark dating back to 1911.
On the Croisette facing the bay since 1911, the Carlton Cannes is the absolute institution of the Cannes Film Festival. Its Belle Époque façade, listed as a historical monument, has inspired decades of photographers and writers. After closing for a total renovation, the InterContinental brand reopened the palace in 2023 with 332 rooms and suites, two new residential wings, and a completely redesigned spa.
A €500 Million Renovation
The project, one of the most ambitious in recent French hospitality, preserved the listed elements (façade, lobby, grand reception rooms) while adding two residential wings with private pools. The renovation also allowed for the addition of a new Mediterranean inner garden.
Riviera by C and Rooftop
The Riviera by C de Cannes restaurant offers contemporary Mediterranean cuisine on the new sea-view terrace. The rooftop, accessible to hotel guests, is a novel experience for the palace · Cannes from above, the Croisette in direct view.
C de Carlton Spa
The new Carlton-branded spa offers 1,200 m² of treatments, an indoor pool, hammam, sauna, and several premium cabins, including a couple’s cabin. The treatment programme includes signature protocols from Carita, Sisley, and Esthederm.
