A heated pool carved between the walls
C2 has transformed its historic basement into a small urban spa. The heated indoor pool, lined with turquoise mosaic, is “carved between the walls” of the house, in the hotel’s own words. Around it, a green mosaic whirlpool, a sauna, multisensory showers and a solarium create a complete circuit, designed for a two-hour break.
A herbal tea room and a relaxation area extend the session. The relaxation space is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm, to residents and visiting Marseillais alike. The hotel also partners with the KUBE studio to offer fitness packages.

20 rooms above the Vieux-Port
C2 occupies a 19th-century townhouse where the mouldings, grand wrought-iron staircase and painted ceiling have been restored, then contrasted with contemporary materials: concrete, corten steel, glass, corian and vertical gardens. Its 20 rooms are arranged around an interior garden, from the ground floor to the 4th floor, where two Exclusive rooms open their balconies onto Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde.
On the ground floor, the Tchin bar and its three Ingo Maurer pendant lights, followed by the grand salon under a ceiling of angels, serve as the setting for breakfast, which is also open to non-residents. On Wednesdays, the hotel hosts jazz and classical music concerts, and in November it participates in the Jazz sur la Ville festival.
Degaby Island, the summer highlight
From May to the end of September, C2 plays a card that few Marseille hotels can: Degaby Island, a small fort commissioned by Louis XIV off the coast of Malmousque. Guests access it via a complimentary shuttle from Malmousque port, from Friday to Sunday starting at 2 pm. With the renovated spa, the address now has everything to retain its guests all year round.
