The very exclusive club of Parisian palaces is set to welcome a prestigious new member. Maybourne Hotel Group, the British company behind the legendary Claridge’s and The Connaught in London, will open its very first hotel in Paris in 2027: the Maybourne Saint-Germain. A highly anticipated address, nestled in the heart of the Left Bank, which promises to reinvent bespoke luxury in the capital.
Paris’s First Maybourne
Until now, the group reigned supreme in London with Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley, before setting up shop on the French Riviera with The Maybourne Riviera and in Los Angeles with The Maybourne Beverly Hills. With the Maybourne Saint-Germain, the company is launching its very first Parisian address, adding the City of Light to one of the most prestigious collections in the world. An arrival that speaks volumes about the renewed attractiveness of French luxury hospitality.

In the Îlot Saint-Germain, a 17th-Century Gem
The hotel will be located in the Îlot Saint-Germain, an emblematic Left Bank area that has been part of the Parisian landscape since the 17th century, between Boulevard Saint-Germain and Rue Saint-Dominique. Conceived as the “drawing room of Saint-Germain”, the establishment will be organised around a peaceful inner courtyard, true to the discreet spirit of Paris’s most literary quarter. A rare location, just a stone’s throw from the galleries, publishers and legendary cafés of the Left Bank.

101 Rooms and 23 Residences by Renowned Names
The Maybourne Saint-Germain will feature 101 rooms, comprising 50 suites and 51 bedrooms, along with 23 branded luxury residences. The interior design of these residences has been entrusted to two icons of French lifestyle, Pierre-Yves Rochon and Laura Gonzalez, whose styles blend classic elegance with contemporary boldness. A way of anchoring the group’s British expertise in Parisian refinement.

Surrenne, One of Paris’s Largest Luxury Spas
On the wellness front, the hotel will launch Surrenne, a brand-new wellness brand by Maybourne, presented as one of the largest luxury spas and health clubs in Paris. Three swimming pools are planned, including a 25-metre pool reserved for residents and a 30-metre pool on the rooftop, with views over the Parisian rooftops. Six dining venues, including a Japanese restaurant, a pastry shop and a tea room, will complete this exceptional offering.

Two more years of patience are needed before pushing open the doors of the Maybourne Saint-Germain. But one thing is already certain: with this project, the Left Bank has found its future palace, and Paris confirms its status as the world capital of luxury hospitality.
