- Check-in (arrival) is generally possible from 3 PM.
- Check-out (departure) must most often be done before 11 AM or 12 PM.
- These times vary by hotel: always check your confirmation.
- Early check-in and late check-out are often possible, upon request and subject to availability.
What time can you arrive (check-in)?
In the vast majority of hotels, check-in is possible from 3 PM, sometimes 2 PM or 4 PM depending on the establishment. This allows the teams to clean and prepare the rooms after morning departures. You can arrive earlier to drop off your luggage, but the room may not be ready.

What time should you vacate the room (check-out)?
Check-out is most often before 11 AM or 12 PM. Beyond that, the hotel may charge an additional night or late check-out fees. If in doubt, the exact time is always on your booking confirmation.
How to arrive earlier (early check-in)?
To enter your room before 3 PM, it is best to notify the hotel in advance and, if possible, book the previous night. Loyalty program members and suite guests are more likely to receive this courtesy, subject to availability.
How to depart later (late check-out)?
Late check-out should be requested at the reception, ideally the day before: a slot until 2 PM-4 PM is often granted free of charge when the hotel is not fully booked. This is one of the easiest benefits to negotiate, especially in the middle of the week.
