Spanish group Oca Hotels will open the Grand Oca Musa Hotel & Spa in Porto on 1 March 2027, a five-star property with 106 keys, including 12 suites, in the Bonfim district. This will be the first hotel under its high-end Grand Oca brand in Portugal, where the group already operates six hotels, five of which are in Porto.

A five-star hotel in Bonfim
The hotel is located at the start of Avenida de Fernão de Magalhães, near the Campo 24 de Agosto metro station. It will feature 106 keys, including 12 suites, a fusion cuisine restaurant with Portuguese roots, a lobby bar and a meeting room for 50 people, along with private parking. The spa will include a water circuit, saunas, treatment rooms and a gym.
A project led by a Porto developer
Oca Hotels will operate the hotel. According to documents from the Portuguese developer Outside The Box, the hotel and spa project at Campo 24 de Agosto represents an investment of 9.64 million euros, including 3.29 million in European funds. Our take
Porto is scaling up: long known for its boutique hotels, the city is now attracting luxury brands. With the Grand Oca Musa, Oca is elevating its Portuguese portfolio in a district that is more residential than the historic centre. The hotel is not yet taking reservations.
