The Ritz-Carlton, Kemer, All-Inclusive to Open in 2028

All-inclusive enters Marriott’s luxury portfolio in Europe. The American hotel group and Turkish developer Özak GYO have signed the agreement for The Ritz-Carlton, Kemer, All-Inclusive, a resort scheduled for 2028 on the Kemer coast, south-west of Antalya. This will be the group’s first luxury all-inclusive address in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

141 keys across 1.2 kilometres of coastline

The project occupies a beachfront plot spanning over 1.2 kilometres of coastline, nestled between the Taurus mountains and the Mediterranean. It brings together 141 rooms and suites, complemented by a collection of one- to five-bedroom villas. The announced facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, a gym, a kids’ club and a sports centre with tennis and padel courts. The restaurants and bars, not detailed at this stage, will be included in the package, alongside activities.

A turning point for Ritz-Carlton

For several years, Marriott has been developing its All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy platform, built around brands such as Westin, Marriott and Autograph Collection, primarily in the Caribbean and Mexico. Introducing Ritz-Carlton to this segment in Turkey changes the target audience: the group is aiming at European and Gulf clientele who already frequent the resorts of the Turkish Riviera, where high-end all-inclusive was pioneered by local houses such as Maxx Royal. The transaction was advised by Servotel, marking the first partnership between Özak GYO and Marriott.

Kemer, the other Turkish Riviera

One hour from Antalya airport, Kemer offers a landscape of pine forests, pebble beaches and coves facing the mountains. The destination already welcomes international resorts but no American-branded palace. The future Ritz-Carlton adds to a wave of luxury signings in Turkey, from Maxx Royal’s Bodrum property to projects in Istanbul.
