La Sivolière in Courchevel: major metamorphosis and Italian restaurant ZIA for winter 2026-2027

In brief
  • What: a major metamorphosis of the La Sivolière hotel, which becomes “Sivolière Hôtel et Résidence”.
  • Where: Courchevel 1850 (Savoie, French Alps).
  • When: for the winter season 2026-2027.
  • The new features: extension by Gilbert Architecte, interiors by Caprini & Pellerin, new spa with a 25-metre pool, apartments with hotel services.
  • The restaurant: ZIA, a new Italian lifestyle destination created by Manon Santini and Rocco Seminara.

This is one of the most endearing addresses in Courchevel 1850. For the winter season 2026-2027, La Sivolière is preparing for the biggest transformation in its history: a spectacular extension, completely redesigned interiors, an exceptional spa with a 25-metre pool, apartments with all hotel services, and a brand-new Italian restaurant, ZIA. The resort’s institution is changing dimension and becoming “Sivolière Hôtel et Résidence”.

La Sivolière, Courchevel’s chalet spirit reaches a new level

Nestled in the heart of Courchevel 1850, La Sivolière has cultivated a warm, human-scale chalet spirit for decades, far from any ostentation. For winter 2026-2027, the establishment is opening a new chapter and is now establishing itself as a true “Hôtel et Résidence”. An upgrade designed to combine the intimacy of a family chalet with the services of a major alpine hotel.

A spectacular extension by Gilbert Architecte

The most visible construction work is undoubtedly the extension orchestrated by Gilbert Architecte, which significantly increases the establishment’s surface area. Inside, the Caprini & Pellerin studio is redesigning rooms and common areas with contemporary alpine elegance, using noble materials and creating a hushed atmosphere. A signature that places design at the heart of the experience.

A new spa with a 25-metre pool

The centrepiece of this metamorphosis is a new, exceptional spa, centred around a 25-metre long swimming pool, a rarity at this altitude. Floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto snow-covered fir trees, natural light, and emerald water create a haven entirely dedicated to recovery after skiing. This will elevate La Sivolière among the most compelling wellness destinations in Courchevel.

Hotel and Residence: apartments with the services of a major hotel

The major new feature is also the addition of private apartments, complete with all the hotel’s services. A highly sought-after hybrid concept in Courchevel, offering the space and independence of a pied-à-terre with the comfort and services of a hotel. An ideal format for families and extended stays in the heart of the resort.

ZIA, Courchevel’s new Italian restaurant

On the gastronomic front, La Sivolière is focusing on ZIA, an Italian lifestyle concept created by Manon Santini and Rocco Seminara. Designed as a destination in its own right, the restaurant offers Italian-style dining for all the day’s key moments: Colazione, Mezzogiorno, Dolcezza, and Cena. A warm and generous interlude, from breakfast to dinner, aiming to become one of the resort’s new must-visit spots.

With this metamorphosis, La Sivolière confirms that Courchevel remains a laboratory for alpine luxury, where chalet spirit and the most sophisticated hotel standards converge. See you this winter. Find all news about hotels in France on La Revue des Hôtels.
