Founded in 1980 by Jean Cattelin, a Courchevel pioneer, the house now run by Florence Carcassonne will reopen on Thursday 3 December 2026 as Sivolière Hôtel & Résidence. Gilbert Architecte designed the extension and the apartments of La Résidence, for 6 to 15 guests, connected to the hotel; Caprini & Pellerin have redesigned the 35 rooms and suites and the public areas. The address remains at the foot of the slopes, ski-in, ski-out on the 600 km of the 3 Vallées.

The new Spa at Sivolière covers 800 m² and features a 25-metre indoor pool, one of the longest lap pools in Courchevel 1850, along with a hammam, sauna, cryotherapy and a reformer Pilates studio. For dining, ZIA at Sivolière, the Italian cuisine of Rocco Seminara and Manon Santini, serves from 7.30am to 11.30pm, after which The Negroni Club bar takes over. For arrival on Saturday 9 January 2027, with a five-night minimum: €9,710 for two in a Prestige Room, breakfast included, or around €1,942 per night. 📍 Courchevel La Tania🇫🇷 France🗓️ 5 December 2026💶 Rates to come

A new hotel from La French Collection, part of Groupe Giboire, Bârma will open on 5 December 2026 in La Tania, at 1,400 metres, with 75 rooms and suites from 21 to around 100 m². This is true ski-in, ski-out: the Moretta run arrives right outside the ski room, where the ski valet prepares guests’ skis and lays them out on the snow, marked with the room number. The gondola is less than 50 metres away on skis.

The Susanne Kaufmann spa is built around an indoor pool with two basins, one of them for children, among tree trunks and bears carved by Corentin Meige, with a salt grotto and a hammam. La Table de Bârma, a 130-cover alpine brasserie beneath rock vaults, opens onto a 400 m² terrace facing the slopes. Families get a Kid’s Room for 3 to 10-year-olds, free stays for under-12s when booking direct and an included private shuttle to Courchevel 1850. This four-star hotel has not yet published its rates: on 7 October, its official booking engine showed no rooms for 9 January 2027.

After Val Thorens and Courchevel, the °Fahrenheit Seven brand will open its third alpine hotel in December 2026 in the Preyerand district, at the foot of the 3 Vallées slopes, with a first bookable night on 11 December. This new four-star hotel offers nine categories from 26 to 93 m² behind a fully glazed façade facing the peaks: enveloping headboards and bouclé armchairs. A ski room with heated lockers, a ski bar and a ski shop open directly onto the slopes.

On level -1, the fully glazed wellness area brings together a 12-metre heated pool, a sauna and a hammam, with an adults-only slot in the evening. The 110-cover restaurant blends an Italian-Mediterranean menu with Savoyard classics, the 200 m² south-facing terrace hosts DJ sets from Thursday to Saturday, and Roc Seven, the brand’s mountain restaurant at 2,300 metres, is reached by the Roc 1 gondola. The weekend of 9 January 2027 requires two nights: €450 per night for two in a Deluxe Room, breakfast included, on a flexible rate, or €382.50 non-refundable. The opening night, from 11 to 12 December, starts at €298.

📍 Courchevel 1850🇫🇷 France🗓️ 18 December 2026💶 €1,750

Maisons Pariente, already present in the 3 Vallées with Le Coucou in Méribel, is taking over a Courchevel 1850 institution and will reopen it on 18 December 2026 as Saint Roch. Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Versace have imagined an oriental dacha: agate stained glass by the Toporkoff workshops at reception, carved wood and an art collection assembled by Amélie Maison d’Art. The 37 rooms and suites go up to a 244 m² Penthouse.

The hotel is not strictly ski-in, ski-out, but the slopes start just a few steps away, on the Bellecôte run, with a ski room, equipment rental and sales on site. The restaurant is entrusted to Prunier, the Parisian caviar house founded in 1924; the Tata Harper spa, inspired by Ottoman hammams, surrounds an indoor pool, and a Kids Club welcomes 4 to 9-year-olds. For arrival on 9 January 2027, with a four-night minimum: €1,750 per night for two in a Superior room, breakfast included, on a semi-flexible rate.

The decor turns its back on the chalet look: dark panelling, deep velvets and the amber light of an English club.

The spa focuses on contrast therapy, with a lap pool, sauna and hammam clad in stone and onyx.
