Le Graal Cortina hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo: 30 rooms facing the Dolomites, bookable from 8 December

In the heart of Cortina d’Ampezzo, a 1920s palazzo will become Le Graal Cortina this winter, a 30-room hotel including 13 suites designed by interior architect Achille Salvagni. The official booking engine accepts stays from the night of 8 December 2026, from €1,100 a night. The website, for its part, simply announces “Opening 2026”, with no launch date.

Bookable from 8 December

The hotel occupies a reimagined 1920s palazzo at 2 Via Marconi, right in the centre of the resort. The nights of 4 to 7 December are closed on the official booking engine, which opens its rooms from the night of 8 December 2026. As of 22 October, no opening offer is displayed, either on the official website or in the engine.

Le Graal Cortina is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. It belongs to an Italian brand that also includes Le Graal Private Club, in Rome, and a project announced on Lake Garda. In Cortina, it will open the same season as The First Cortina hotel, expected on 4 December.

30 rooms designed by Achille Salvagni

Achille Salvagni designed the interiors: oak panelling, red lacquer, antique portraits and black and white skiing photographs. Every room opens onto the mountains surrounding Cortina. The 17 rooms, Deluxe or Prestige, measure 28 m²; next come 2 Junior Suites of 35 m² with two balconies, then 4 Executive Suites of 55 m², dressed in deep red, also with two balconies.

The entire fourth floor can be booked exclusively for a family or friends, with each room keeping its own entrance.

Le Graal Suite: 100 m² and a 38 m² terrace

Above the 6 Prestige Suites of 60 m², the top floor is given over to the Le Graal Suite: 100 m² and a 38 m² terrace, with a bathroom of more than 11 m² in Namibian marble. For 12 January 2027, the official engine lists it at €8,000 a night, breakfast included.

What will Guarneri bring to Le Monsù?

The fine dining restaurant is called Le Monsù, a Sicilian word derived from “Monsieur le Chef”. Its menu is created with chef Giovanni Guarneri, as a consultant: he remains at the stoves of Ristorante Don Camillo in Ortigia, the historic heart of Syracuse, in Sicily. The menu will mix creations for Cortina with dishes from Don Camillo, such as Spaghetti delle Sirene.

Le Café will serve from morning to midnight, somewhere between café, bistro and patisserie. Le Graal Bar will be an American bar: signature cocktails, rare spirits, and reinvented Negronis and Spritzes.

A spa with a cold plunge pool and cryotherapy

Le Graal Spa brings together an indoor pool, a sauna, a hammam, a cold plunge pool and a cryotherapy cabin, which exposes the body to extreme cold. Treatments take place in treatment rooms or in a private Spa Suite with a fireplace.

Treatments follow three themes: renewed energy, conscious longevity and stress management. Rituals last 50 minutes, with 25-minute add-ons.

From €1,100 to €8,000 a night this winter

We checked rates on 22 October 2026 on the official booking engine, for two adults and one night, breakfast and taxes included. The Deluxe room goes from €1,100 for the night of 8 December to €1,250 for the night of 12 January 2027; members of Leaders Club, the loyalty programme of The Leading Hotels of the World, pay €1,045 on 8 December. Cancellation is free up to 21 days before arrival.
