The Parisian house claims more than 40 years of expertise and a bespoke approach: every treatment begins with a diagnosis of the client’s skin. Its formulas are made in workshops in France, are vegan according to the resort’s announcement, and contain over 94% ingredients of natural origin on average. The brand says it is present in more than 200 five-star hotels.

At the Algarve spa, therapists can combine Anne Semonin products and techniques to suit each guest. ‘Our vision for the spa is to offer much more than a treatment,’ says spa manager Ana Pedreirinho, who wants it to be a place where everyone can slow down and reconnect with themselves. The idea recalls that of the Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch, which entrusted its treatments to OSKIA.

The spa was designed with wellness consultant Greg Payne and opened in May 2025, with an original menu by Ignae, a brand from the Azores, and Oway, a Bologna house specialising in biodynamic cosmetics. It brings together five single rooms, two couples’ rooms and a suite, the Celebration Suite, with a steam shower, jacuzzi and private relaxation garden.

The online menu still lists Ignae and Oway facials; the Anne Semonin treatments do not yet appear there with their prices. The signature treatment remains the 120-minute Ritual of Love, extended by the four-hour Signature Couples Celebration, which ends with a cacao ritual.

The water circuit lines up an indoor thermal pool open all year round, an outdoor pool looking out over the valley, a Finnish sauna, a herbal hammam, sensory showers and a cold-water bucket. The spa also offers Vichy hydrotherapy and a scrub room that the resort describes as the only one in the region. A private Pilates Reformer studio, a yoga studio, a Spa Café and a boutique complete the offer, open from 10am to 6pm.
