Cameron House resort on Loch Lomond sold for nearly 100 million pounds

In brief
  • 🏰 The Cameron House resort on the shores of Loch Lomond has been sold for nearly 100 million pounds sterling.
  • 🤝 The acquisition was carried out by the Victory Group.
  • 📅 The deal was completed ahead of 30 April 2026.
  • 🏴 One of the most significant Scottish hotel transactions of the period.

A flagship of Scottish hospitality changes hands

Luxury Scottish hospitality has just witnessed one of its most resounding transactions. The prestigious Cameron House resort, nestled on the shores of Loch Lomond, has been sold for an estimated sum of nearly 100 million pounds sterling. This 19th-century baronial mansion, surrounded by golf courses and gardens overlooking Great Britain’s largest lake, is one of the country’s most iconic addresses.

The Victory Group takes the helm

The acquisition, finalised ahead of 30 April 2026, was led by the Victory Group. It confirms investors’ appetite for British destination resorts capable of combining heritage, 5-star hospitality, golf, and wellness within a single estate. Cameron House, fully renovated following a fire in 2017 and since reopened, embodies this integrated resort model highly prized by buyers.

A strong signal for the British hotel market

Beyond its price tag, this transaction acts as a barometer. Large resort transactions are becoming scarcer, and each disposal of an asset of this calibre is closely watched as an indicator of market health. By attracting an amount of this scale, Loch Lomond confirms that Scotland remains a prime land for hotel investment, driven by thriving high-end tourism.
