Regent sparks fresh perspectives in Aspen

Regent Hosts: Regent launches its off-site experiences in Aspen

In the heart of the Rocky Mountains’ summer season, Regent Hotels & Resorts chose the verdant heights of Aspen to unveil its brand-new touring initiative named Regent Hosts. On 1 August 2026, an exclusive circle of business leaders, patrons, and influential personalities gathered at a private property in Woody Creek for an exceptional lunch. This inaugural meeting brilliantly embodied Regent’s hushed and resolutely contemporary vision of hotel luxury.

  • Date: 1 August 2026
  • Concept: Private off-site experiences combining fine dining, floral art, and palace-style mixology

Regent Hosts, the off-site experiential manifesto

Designed to extend the brand’s pioneering spirit beyond the traditional borders of its palaces, the Regent Hosts event cycle imagines intimate moments of hospitality within prestigious cultural destinations and resorts. With this series of private receptions, Regent transports its exceptional expertise directly to an international community of tastemakers.

For this first edition, the reception was co-hosted by Danielle “Dani” Wolfe, a respected figure in strategic marketing and influencer partnerships, renowned for bringing together high-level decision-making circles. The event laid the foundations for a new format of dialogue between ultra-luxury hospitality and leaders in culture and business.

Regent has always been a brand defined by innovation and a pioneering spirit

“Regent has always been a brand defined by innovation and a pioneering spirit. With Regent Hosts, we are extending this spirit beyond our hotels through intimate gatherings that reflect our signature balance between serenity and sensation.”

Regent sparks fresh perspectives in Aspen

A monumental botanical scenography in Woody Creek

The staging of the reception drew inspiration from the raw beauty of the Colorado landscapes and the sophisticated atmosphere of Aspen. Eschewing conventional decorative compositions, the brand opted for a sculptural approach, directly integrating alpine nature into the living space.

An impressive continuous floral installation nearly 14 metres long spanned the entire lunch table, replacing classic arrangements with a living architectural gesture. Composed of textured grasses, wild ferns, and selected botanical species, the plant work rested in receptacles covered in natural moss, creating the striking sensation of vegetation emerging organically from the table. This choice of discreet maximalism extended to the bar and the entrance of the residence.

Signature mixology in the colours of the group’s capitals

Upon arrival, guests were greeted by a refined reference to the iconic doormen of Regent establishments, before discovering a selection of bespoke cocktails inspired by the most famous addresses in the collection.

Each liquid creation offered an immediate immersion into the world of an iconic destination from the hotel collection. Guests were notably able to enjoy:

Colorado local gastronomy: the elegance of the season

The culinary experience showcased local Colorado produce with exemplary gastronomic precision. Following appetizers combining vegan summer rolls, sesame-crusted ahi tuna, buckwheat blinis with caviar, and strawberries topped with fresh goat’s cheese, the lunch opened with burrata with heirloom tomatoes and grilled Palisade peaches.

The table highlighted regional summer flavours through a Colorado farm poultry roulade and locally caught striped bass. A seasonal vegetable terrine completed the main course offering, before a sweet finale centred around Colorado strawberries, served on a lemon shortbread or poached in elderflower panna cotta.

An exclusive circle of leaders gathered in Aspen

The lunch brought together a remarkable assembly of female leaders from the worlds of business, fashion, health, and philanthropy. Among the personalities gathered were Whitney Wolfe Herd, founder of the Bumble app, and Alexandra Dillard Lucie, Vice President of the Dillard’s department store group.

Also present were Corinna Richter, President and Chief Administrative Officer of HOLT CAT, Adrianna Grossman, President of the Texas Biomedical Forum, philanthropist Shelby Krause Goff, as well as Jessica Jones Donnell, Melissa Salem, Tessa Riley, head of Dynamic Realty, Lauren Thomas, and Sita McNab. These privileged exchanges fostered in-depth conversations on leadership and cultural innovation.

Regent’s strategic expansion within the IHG group

A pioneer in luxury hospitality since its creation in 1970, the Regent Hotels & Resorts brand is continuing its renaissance under the impetus of IHG Hotels & Resorts. With a current portfolio of 11 exceptional addresses, including Carlton Cannes, Regent Hong Kong, and Regent Phu Quoc, the house recently consolidated its global presence with the openings of Regent Shanghai on the Bund, Regent Bali Canggu, and the spectacular Regent Santa Monica Beach on the Californian coast.

The house’s development pipeline includes the upcoming establishment of 9 new exceptional properties, notably in Kyoto, Kuala Lumpur, Jeddah, Riyadh, Sanya, and Shenzhen. This strategic network is at the heart of IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle division, which comprises over one million rooms across 7,000 hotels worldwide.

Our view

By investing in Aspen with a private experiential format rather than classic institutional communication, Regent perfectly illustrates the evolution of ultra-luxury marketing strategies. This experiential approach demonstrates that contemporary hotel luxury is now built as much through the strength of its community as through the splendour of its walls. By creating direct bridges between its Asian or European addresses and the American economic elite, the brand is skillfully preparing its future international openings.
