It is in this exceptional setting that the Clara Arte hotel has just reached a historic milestone by unveiling its brand-new accommodation wing. This major project redefines the standards of Brazilian luxury hospitality by offering a perfect fusion of nature and creation. The opening of the “Ala Galeria” (the Gallery Wing), whose first residents were welcomed on 21 August 2026, represents the culmination of an investment of 59.3 million Brazilian reais. This expansion increases the establishment’s capacity from 46 to 76 keys, responding to the growing interest in this unique cultural destination. Until 4 September 2026, guests benefit from an exclusive launch period to make these refined new spaces their own.
Universal accessibility as an architectural signature
Far from being a simple technical constraint, accessibility has been conceived here as a genuine aesthetic choice. Designed according to the principles of universal design, the new wing has been located in the immediate vicinity of the resort’s living spaces to guarantee absolute comfort for all profiles of travellers. Each suite offers an adaptive layout allowing the space to be configured according to the specific needs of guests before their arrival. From corridors to bathrooms, the flow of movement is seamless, offering a barrier-free experience for people with reduced mobility or families with young children.
A contemporary art collection within sight
Staying at Clara Arte is now akin to an immersion in a leading private gallery. To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Inhotim Institute, each room in the Ala Galeria hosts the commemorative set “Múltiplo Tunga”, composed of seven exclusive pieces paying tribute to this great name in Brazilian art. Unique creations signed by major artists such as Vik Muniz, Tomie Ohtake or Sonia Gomes adorn the various living spaces. Thanks to discreet QR codes, residents can explore the history of each work from their room. This artistic standard extends into the common areas, such as the indoor swimming pool decorated with artisanal ceramics from Pernambuco or the children’s play area designed by a renowned visual artist.
New presidential suites and committed gastronomy
With this extension, the hotel is diversifying its offering, now proposing ten accommodation categories. Among the most spectacular new features are three presidential suites, available for booking since 27 August 2026, equipped with private saunas, hot tubs and spacious balconies. The Suite Presidencial 5 stands out as the jewel of this collection with its master bedroom of over 71 square metres. On the dining side, chef and general manager Taiza Krueder offers a full-board package that brilliantly reinterprets the terroir of Minas Gerais. The menus give pride of place to organic products from the establishment’s kitchen garden, perfectly complementing a wellness offering that also includes a high-end spa and a state-of-the-art fitness room.
