Rosewood has finally reached new heights. In December 2025, the hotel group known for its ultra-luxury properties opened its first mountain resort in the world in Jardin Alpin, at the very top of Courchevel 1850. After a remarkable first season, the Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin is already preparing to reopen for winter 2026-2027, confirming the appetite of major international brands for the most coveted resort in the Alps.
Rosewood’s First Alpine Resort
This is a world first for the brand: Rosewood Courchevel is the brand’s very first mountain resort, and its second property in mainland France. Nestled in the exclusive Jardin Alpin enclave, the hotel boasts direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Three Valleys, the largest interconnected ski area in the world. Dedicated ski butlers handle equipment and piste reservations, in the purest Rosewood service tradition.

Fifty-One Keys Designed by Tristan Auer
French designer Tristan Auer has created the interiors for the 51 rooms and suites, in a contemporary chalet style that blends noble materials, patinated wood, and soft comfort. The establishment cultivates an alpine elegance free from any folklore, halfway between a grand family home and a discreet palace. A renaissance of the golden age of winter sports, reinterpreted through the lens of today’s luxury.
L’Appartement Jardin Alpin, a Jewel Designed by Studio KO
The hotel’s centrepiece is L’Appartement Jardin Alpin, a four-bedroom residence designed by French architects Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty of the renowned Studio KO. A private lift, terraces opening onto the Sommet de la Saulire, a cinema room, and a professional kitchen make up a refuge designed for families and groups seeking absolute privacy. Two other signature residences complete this exceptional offering.

Asaya and SALTO: Wellness and High-Altitude Dining
For rejuvenation, Rosewood is launching its integrated wellness concept Asaya in Courchevel, designed for mountain recovery, with exclusive treatments such as the Deep Alpine Massage and the Ski Legs Revival Massage. The dining experience centres around SALTO, the hotel’s signature restaurant, which combines expressive flavours, conviviality, and breathtaking views of the peaks. A complete ecosystem designed so you never have to leave the property.

With this first palace-chalet, Rosewood enters a resort that is certainly not short on luxury references. It remains to be seen whether the brand can establish its signature against the already established palaces. One thing is certain: Courchevel 1850 confirms, season after season, its status as a global laboratory for alpine luxury.
