Following the Harry Potter hotel in Germany, themed hospitality is reaching new heights in the United States. In Nashville, the world capital of country music, an entire venue will be dedicated to Dolly Parton. The SongTeller Hotel opened its doors on 10 June 2026, just a few metres from Lower Broadway.
An entrance shaped like a giant guitar
It is impossible to miss the building. Its twelve floors open onto an entrance designed in the shape of a guitar, a bold architectural statement in the heart of Music City. The property features 245 rooms and suites in a style celebrated for its Southern charm, where every space tells a fragment of the singer’s story.

A lobby where music plays every hour
The heart of the project is called the Listening Lobby. Adorned in a rainbow of colours and gold ceilings, this space will play Dolly Parton songs every hour and host songwriting sessions, open to visiting songwriters. A way to turn the hotel lobby into a creative venue rather than a mere transit space.
An in-house museum
The centrepiece occupies the third floor. The Dolly’s Life of Many Colors museum will trace the decades that shaped the artist’s career, from her beginnings in rural Tennessee to her status as a global icon. Tickets are already on presale alongside hotel bookings, a sign of the anticipation surrounding the project.
Two live venues and Southern cuisine
The venue also focuses on live performances. Two venues, Parton’s Live and Jolene’s, will showcase artists from the Nashville scene, accompanied by a cocktail menu and a modern take on Southern-inspired cuisine. The location, just steps from the Ryman Auditorium and Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, places the hotel at the centre of the city’s music circuit.
Themed hospitality scales up
SongTeller confirms a trend that is rapidly gathering momentum. Following branded hotels and designer properties, a celebrity’s universe is now becoming a hotel product in its own right. The model appeals because it turns an overnight stay into a fan experience, with a built-in audience even before opening. A logic seen in projects backed by cultural franchises, and one that could well inspire Europe.
