Our full review of the Kube Saint-Tropez: design, myBlend spa and Le Petit Célestin rooftop

In brief
  • Our rating: 9.9/10. An almost flawless stay.
  • Where: steps from the village of Saint-Tropez, in 2 hectares of Mediterranean gardens.
  • The highlight: a 300 sqm spa and fully personalised myBlend (Clarins group) treatments.
  • The rooftop: the Le Petit Célestin table and its 360° view over the sea and Sainte-Maxime.
  • The beach: Cybèle, in Ramatuelle, styled by Kujten.
  • The only downside: road noise, audible from the pools beside the road.

Reopened in spring 2026 by Machefert Group as part of its « Phénix » upmarket plan, the Kube Saint-Tropez embraces a contemporary, understated and convivial hospitality. We stayed there the week of 10 June. After several days on site, the verdict is clear: it is one of the most accomplished stays we have tested this season on the peninsula.

A contemporary haven steps from the village

Set in the heart of two hectares of Mediterranean gardens, this 70-room five-star cultivates an understated luxury. The new « Naturals » rooms favour warm materials, light wood and soft lighting. Everything is impeccably clean, down to the smallest detail of the bathroom.

The pools: the sublime view, the road-noise caveat

This is the Kube postcard: two infinity pools opening onto the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, lined with canopied daybeds. The Kube also has a heated pool and a third pool tucked away in the gardens. Our only reservation of the stay is here: the road runs alongside the hotel, and passing cars can be heard from the pools. Nothing dealbreaking, but at this level it is the single point that kept us from a perfect score.

The myBlend spa: the highlight of the stay

Spread over two levels, the 300 sqm spa offers six treatment rooms, a hammam and a sauna. But it is the myBlend signature, the Clarins group brand, that makes all the difference. The facial we received was simply incredible, fully personalised to our skin, from the diagnosis to the myBlend LED mask, with strikingly effective products. Discover the Kube spa →

On the fitness side, a fully equipped gym rounds out the wellness offering.

Refined dining, from breakfast to the rooftop

The bright restaurant, open to the sea, sets the tone from breakfast. But the real destination is the rooftop: 210 sqm, a 360° view and the pop-up table Le Petit Célestin, by the Mimoun brothers and chef Jaïs. At sunset, facing the sea and Sainte-Maxime, dinner on the roof is a suspended moment.

Cybèle beach, in Ramatuelle

The stay continues at Cybèle beach, in Ramatuelle, whose restaurant was designed by the Cordelia de Castellane studio. For the season, the beach is dressed in the codes of the French house Kujten and its bandana motif. Refined sun loungers, lunch with your feet in the sand and myBlend treatments also on the beach: the Kube experience is lived facing the sea too. Discover Cybèle beach →

Service that anticipates every detail

Throughout the stay, it is the attentiveness of the staff that stands out most. Everyone is genuinely attentive, from the spa to the front desk, with constant warmth and availability. It is that extra soul, as much as the facilities, that places the Kube at the very top of our Saint-Tropez selection, alongside our Sezz Saint-Tropez review.

Impeccable rooms, an outstanding myBlend spa, a spectacular rooftop, a beach with character and service that anticipates every detail: the Kube Saint-Tropez nails its move upmarket. We award it 9.9/10, the single missing tenth down to the road noise audible from the pools. An almost flawless stay, and an address we wholeheartedly recommend for an exceptional break on the peninsula.
